Pilates

Body control pilates is designed to make pilates accessible to all; whether it is your first time exercising, you are recovering from an injury, operation or illness, or an athlete wishing to improve stamina, form and prevent injury. It's great for runners, horse riders, golfers, and other sports enthusiasts to complement their training. The beauty of Body Control pilates is that it can always be adapted to the appropriate level for you, which is also why it is a safe and effective way to exercise during pregnancy and the postnatal period too.

TRX Suspension Training

The TRX Suspension Training system harnesses your own body weight to create resistance as you train and is a modern form of core stability and fitness training that suits all levels of fitness. It builds superior muscular balance, joint stability, mobility, and core strength helping you perform better in any sport, improves all fitness levels to achieve your own personal goals.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient holistic system for creating and sustaining balance and harmony on all the levels of our being: body, mind, emotions and spirit. Although we practice yoga, it is much more than something that one 'does'. Yoga becomes a state of being, an inner wholeness, and experience of contentment, of being at peace with oneself and in harmony with the world.

Tai Chi

There is an old Chinese saying "Look after the roots and the flowers will grow healthy." "Tai Chi" internal energy "Qigong" is based on the same principles of looking after and taking care of individuals' sources of energy.

At iQ Therapies we run beginners and Improvers Tai Chi and Qigong sessions. These sessions cover Foundation Qigong exercises which are very good for improving your health and Tai Chi for Health which combines slow fluid movements intertwined with energy realising exercises.
